The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an Exams Officer to join our Secondary School team. This post is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective process of examination entry through to results management, maintaining compliance with Examination Board and School policies, procedures and timescales. The Exam Officer is also the first point of contact for key staff within school regards examinations. This is an important role within school and so we are looking to appoint someone who is flexible, pro-active and well organised.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree level education
  • Examination Board Training
  • Experience of the iGCSE and International Baccalaureate qualification
  • High level of IT literacy including experience of working with iSAMS
  • High level of international and inter-cultural understanding
  • High level of fluency in written and spoken English

Ideally, you will already be living in the UAE.

Selection Process

Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Line Manager.

The closing date for application is 11th July 2020. However, we reserve the right to begin interviewing and make an appointment prior to the closing date.

Interviews will be conducted via videoconferencing.

Anticipated start date will be 23rd August 2020.
