About the role
Join our fast-paced international environment where you will support the students studying in the International Baccalaureate programmes.
Able to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a degree in a Learning Support related subject, a teaching qualification plus considerable experience and some knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.
A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement and personal investment within the classroom. You will also ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet students’ varying learning and social needs and be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development and growth. You will be responsible for identifying, supervising and implementing appropriate and individualised programmes for students throughout the school who need focused and additional support to access the ICS teaching and learning programmes. Additionally you will develop strategies and materials that ensure a consistent and supported approach to the learning progress of students especially those identified with specific learning needs.
