School Secretary

The School Secretary is responsible for three key areas:

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing them appropriately.
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Management of the school student record systems.
  • Supporting the day to day management of the academic part of the school.
  • Communication link between parents teachers and children.

Management of the school student record systems:

  • Set up a paper filing system for every child in the school. This would contain all necessary documentation from admission of the child to school, copies of school reports and letters from parents about issues concerning their child’s education.
  • Set up and maintain the school student database.    
  • Liaise closely with the admission process of children entering the school.
  • Supporting the day to day management of the academic part of the school.
  • Letters/e mails to school and communication with parents.
  • Problem solving for parents with concerns linking these with relevant teachers or personnel in school.
  • Produce the St Andrews Child Identification card and family cards.
  • Communication link between parents, teachers and children
  • Make appointments for parents to meet with teachers or other relevant staff.
  • Produce letters from school to home.
  • Deal with telephone and fax and letter correspondence.
  • Organise the office clerk so that she supports fully the office and maintenance school resources.


  • Thai Nationality – with maturity and out going.
  • Good English skill.
  • Proven working experience as a receptionist or office coordinator/ assistant.
  • Good telephone skills & solid communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Familiar with Supply Management & Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good Internet Research abilities and basic IT Knowledge.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
  • In good health, good personality, hardworking, trustful, professional and polite.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Can work under pressure and good coordinator.
