About the role:
We are looking for a suitably qualified, committed and experienced Drama teacher to join a successful Arts Department. As a Drama teacher at International College Spain, the successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of this subject across the Primary and Secondary School in the PYP and MYP level. You will have an enthusiastic approach to teaching your subject and the ability to nurture and inspire your students and other members of your department so they can deliver a high standard of teaching. You will work well as a team member and prepare the programme together through collaborative planning sessions and liaison with the Nord Anglia Education Julliard Schools’ programme.
As a qualified teacher, you will be a fluent English speaker and have experience of delivering the IB programme. You will be committed to developing personalised approaches to learning and experienced in the latest assessment methods. You will be an excellent communicator, who works in partnership with colleagues, students and parents to create a learning environment that delivers educational excellence. You will be keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum and will be an effective professional with outstanding subject knowledge and experience of teaching. You will be resilient and able to work in a fast paced timetable, preparing performance pieces.
