About Nord Anglia School Shenzhen

Opening in September 2019, Nord Anglia School Shenzhen (NAS SHENZHEN) will provide a state of the art, world-class learning and teaching environment with a total student capacity of more than 1,000 for students aged 6-18. Providing a unique blended learning experience, NAS Shenzhen will offer students the best of Eastern and Western education resources and philosophies. The bilingual programme will follow a progressive blend of core elements of the Chinese National Curriculum with other renowned international curricula taught through the medium of Mandarin Chinese and English.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, it shares resources and knowledge with 61 other schools around the world. The Global Campus will connect NAS Shenzhen students with other Nord Anglia Education schools based in 28 different countries worldwide. Students will be able to extend their international experience through opportunities to learn abroad, to connect with more than 61,000 students through the innovative online platform and to take advantage of exciting experiences and expeditions.

About the role

We’ll look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. You will foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.

About you

Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will bring a degree, a recognised teaching qualification and considerable teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative practice to raise achievement.

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions, including living and working in China.
