Teacher of English required for September 2019

English lies at the heart of a Beau Soleil education. Whether it is exploring classic texts and Big Ideas in our IMYC classes, or studying text messaging and taboo in IBDP Language and Literature lessons, the quality of our English provision defines our students’ ability to enjoy learning and successfully navigate the curricular programmes they follow. As the school grows, we are looking to build our English team and enhance it by recruiting another fantastic teacher, ideally with experience in delivering Drama or EAL. Playing a key role within the Faculty of English and student support, you will be keen to join a team which is centred on helping students to achieve and grow emotionally as well as intellectually. You will enjoy working with a range of abilities, ages and nationalities, and of course, have an infectious love of language and literature.
Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life including the boarding provision as well as the classroom. Ideally, you will already have a basic level of French language and be keen to develop your language skills.

The closing date for applications is March 8th, 2019. Successful short listed candidates will be contacted with initial discussions conducted remotely by telephone or Skype. A second round of interviews will take place soon after the initial contact, in person, in Switzerland.
