This is an exciting time to join our community. We have a state of the art facility, that is one of the world’s most pedagogically advanced campuses. As a result, we are looking for Middle Leaders who can lead colleagues to make full use of our facility, especially our wonderful, new performing arts facilities, by being committed to a modern, constructivist, inquiry-based and personalised approach to learning that inspires and engages students. In line with this, we would expect you to have experience with concept-driven, inquiry-based curricula and be able to speak passionately about the impact on student engagement and learning.

An ideal opportunity for an experienced Head of Performing Arts, (Music, Drama & Dance)

You will also be excited about our collaboration with Juilliard and have creative ideas on how to best use this to maximise the benefit to our students and community.

In addition to being highly successful in its own right, The British International School Houston is a member of Nord Anglia Education. This means you will join an internationally networked team where ideas, learning and best practice are shared with colleagues around the globe and where professional learning and career progression are supported and actively promoted.

In return for your passion in delivering a quality education, we offer a competitive salary, flight allowance, healthcare and school places for your children.  Additionally we offer security and the opportunities that are inherent in a high quality global organisation dedicated to education and helping others to be the best they can be.

Nord Anglia Education is an equal opportunities employer and observes and respects the laws, customs and cultures of the countries in which it operates.

If you would like to be a part of our school community, and have the right blend of experience, creativity, organisation and passion, along with a vision for 21st century education, then we would like to hear from you.

Online applications should include a letter of application, CV and details of at least two professional references.
