College Alpin Beau Soleil is a world renowned boarding school located in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We welcome students from around the world, offering them the chance to follow either an international or French curriculum pathway. Around thirty per cent of the student body currently study in the French Section, preparing for their Brevet or Baccalaureate examinations.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational school leader, keen to work in a successful and expanding school. The role of Head of Section is an important position within the school, with the post holder leading our French Section staff and students. This post provides significant autonomy and responsibility, as well as the opportunity to work as part of a strong leadership team. As a qualified teacher you will be bilingual in French and English, familiar with the French Baccalaureate and Diplôme du Brevet, and the relevant French curriculum requirements for students aged 14 to 18. You will additionally enjoy working in and have experience of the international education sector. You will be confident leading students from diverse backgrounds, an excellent communicator and someone who is capable of inspiring and motivating colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life including the boarding provision as well as the classroom.

Applications should be made via the Nord Anglia Education recruitment website at www.jobtrain.co.uk/nordanglia and should contain a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees. Any offer of appointment will be subject to a successful medical as well as clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (previously known as CRB).
The closing date for applications is Friday 30th June. Successful short listed candidates will be contacted straight away with initial discussions conducted remotely by telephone or Skype. A second round of interviews will take place soon afterwards at the school.
