ICT Teacher

Key accountabilities:

Teach ICT to students of the Primary and Secondary sections

Share in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development,

health and safety, and well-being of students

Create a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of positive discipline

Act as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy

Adapt teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all

learners

Collaborate with MIT regarding STEAM curriculum and initiatives

Communicate effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning and achievements

Plan for, assess, and report student learning and progress

Profile & competencies:

Master’s degree in computer science

Qualified Teacher Status

Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international environment

Ongoing desire to be a lifelong learner and embrace new applications, programmes and pedagogy

Perfectly bilingual in French and English

Swiss / EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit

Clean criminal records
