IB Maths Teacher 60%

Key accountabilities:

• Teach mathematics in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
• Share in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development,
• health and safety, and well-being of students
• Create a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of positive discipline
• Act as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy
• Adapt teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all
• learners
• Communicate effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning and achievements
• Plan for, assess, and report student learning and progress

Profile & competencies:

• Teaching qualification at graduate level or above
• Completed qualified IB Mathematics training
• Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international school environment
• Experience as an Extended Essay supervisor and IB examiner is an asset
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and team spirit
• Fluency in both English and French
• Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
• Clean criminal records
