Are you an inspirational Music teacher looking for a new challenge in a growing and vibrant international school? The British School Yangon is looking to appoint outstanding classroom teachers to join our team in August 2021.

As a teacher of Music you will be a confident, compelling and innovative classroom practitioner, able to bring lessons to life and create opportunities for our talented young musicians to experience ensemble playing. 

Post 1 – A Primary specialist with the ability to teach some KS3 classes. 

Post 2 – Across the age ranges with a Secondary focus (KS3 and IGCSE). 

Working within the Creative Arts department, you will have a keen desire to collaborate and engage in the many professional development opportunities that arise, and will enjoy working with colleagues to build strong cross curricular elements. A responsibility allowance is also available for running the peripatetic instrumental programme.
As part of a busy international school, you will be happy to contribute to the wider life of the school, offering After School clubs, plays and productions and organising enrichment activities to support curriculum delivery.

You will live and work in the beautiful city of Yangon in Myanmar, ideally situated for exploring the vibrant and diverse countries and cultures of South East Asia. Myanmar is a friendly and warm country where you will be made to feel at home from the moment you arrive.
