YOUR PROFILE

As an IT Service Technician, you are part of the IT team at Collège Alpin Beau Soleil. You will play a role in ensuring that our students and staff have access to the technology they need to learn and succeed. You will be responsible for providing technical support and problem solving to students and staff, installing, and configuring hardware and software systems, maintaining, and repairing computer equipment and peripherals, and responding to IT support tickets and inquiries promptly and professionally.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 1st and 2nd level technical support for stff and students using school owned hardware and software
  • 3rd level of support in coordination with the IT supervisor
  • Deployment of school devices (phones, computers)
  • Maintenance of network equipment in coordination with the IT supervisor
  • Opportunities to work with various IT technologies (security, network, entreprise level wireless, telephony, etc.)
  • Administration of users (Active Directory), mailboxes (Office 365) and of other school software
  • Provide support for various school events


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

               Experience

  • CFC in information technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • French as a mother tongue, with good knowledge of English
