YOUR PROFILE AND VALUES
You are likely to be a marketing professional, with experience of and affinity for working with customers and brands with high expectations and values.  You are likely to have a strong belief in the value of education, and the way that it can transform the lives of students and, through them, the world at large.  More than that, you must have a sense of restless ambition on behalf of everyone you work with, and you must be instinctively a team-player, who takes pride in and nurtures the successes of others.  Beau Soleil is not a job – it’s a community, a lifestyle, a state of mind and an ambition.  We are looking for people who want to belong and contribute.

In practical terms, you will have an analytical and intelligent mind and you will be able to balance individual drive with collaboration. You communicate succinctly, effectively and attractively, both in English and French, with a style matching the aspirations of Beau Soleil. With an awareness of branding, image and style, you have a clear understanding of what influences international high-end customers and persuades such families to choose a school for their child.  You will be good at building brand awareness and developing and nurturing individual customer relationships.  You will enjoy sharing these skills with others: we are a learning organisation, after all. 

You will report formally and frequently to the Principal, will manage the marketing team, and will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Admissions across a wide range of overlapping responsibilities.  You will have a good and mutually supportive working relationship with the marketing and admissions team in the Nord Anglia Education regional office in Lausanne.  But, inevitably and appropriately, your work will involve getting to know and working with all members of the Beau Soleil community across a range of projects and activities.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Develop and implement a comprehensive and specific marketing strategy for the school so that we achieve our brand, communication and recruitment aims
•    Report frequently formally and informally, to the Principal and to the regional team
•    Oversee the school’s communication strategy and PR activities
•    Oversee the school’s online presence: social media strategy and website
•    Manage the marketing team
•    With the Principal, take responsibility for the look and feel of the campus
•    With the Deputy Head, manage regular communications with the parent body
•    With the Director of Admissions, oversee and manage resources to support the admissions process
•    Work with the Nord Anglia Education regional team on group-wide projects and reporting•    As a member of the school’s leadership team, be involved in all aspects of school life
•    Be an enthusiastic advocate – internally and externally – for Beau Soleil
•    Think independently about things not on this list

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Know-how

•    Qualified at degree level or above
•    Relevant higher qualifications in marketing, communication or business
•    Strong knowledge of use of social media
•    Language skills: English as a mother tongue, French essential, others useful

Interpersonal skills/charateristics

•    Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
•    Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders
•    A mind that can be both creative and analytic
