The school is currently looking to recruit:     

Korean Liaison Officer

About the role

A successful post holder will meet/exceed the school’s student recruitment targets for Korean student enrolment, provide excellent customer service to Korean parents and students and retain and strengthen relationships between the School and Korean parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Admissions:
    • To create events developed with a purpose of maximising applications (including receptions, forums, direct mail, etc).
    • To manage all admissions activities for the school, including meeting with potential Korean parents and completing the admissions process in a professional manner (Family Experience journey)
    • To work closely with the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ISAMS (Internet-based School Management Information System) Administrator regarding CRM and ISAMS applications for reports of market analysis of enquiries; CRM and ISAMS registration and admissions.
  • Marketing:
    • Searching for new marketing opportunities involving outside agencies, making contacts, and helping to design and arrange the distribution of appropriate promotional material.
    • Cooperate with internal departments to facilitate launching of marketing programs.
    • Maintain advertising files – correspondences, press releases, magazine advertising, etc.
    • To support the Marketing Department in conducting research to identify additional ways to reach target groups and referral sources.
  • Liaison:
    • To provide in-class support for Korean students; when possible, and to liaise with Korean parents and/or Heads of Section on academic matters
    • To attend and represent the school at some public/business functions.
    • To help with the day-to-day correspondence with business groups, businesses, and outside agencies, as appropriate.
  • Any other duties and projects as may be reasonably required by the Admissions and Marketing /Principal​​​​​​​

Professional Qualifications and Requirements

  • South Korean nationality
  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Have at least two years’ experience in marketing/sales (marketing experience in education/training is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with digital and social media marketing strategies
  • Strong technical marketing skills
  • Have good inter-personal skills
  • Be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Be able to manage own time and workload
  • Be able to network effectively and make contacts
  • Be able to show initiative and common sense
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Have formal presentation skills
  • Be comfortable in a classroom environment with children
