Your Profile

Are you a passionate and caring boarding professional looking for a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a successful and expanding school? College Alpin Beau Soleil is looking for outstanding individuals who are committed to providing the highest levels of support and pastoral welfare for all students in the school community.

As a Housemaster or Housemistress at Beau Soleil, you will play a key part in our ongoing drive to raise the quality of everything we do. Together we ensure that our students enjoy an extraordinary holistic education in the exceptional alpine setting of Villars-sur-Ollon

Our Housemistresses and Housemasters are the link between students, parents and the academic side of the school, and are responsible for the academic and pastoral wellbeing of the students in their house. They lead the way in creating and maintaining a home from home family environment, in which students feel secure and well supported throughout their time at Beau Soleil.

You will work under the leadership and guidance of the Director of Boarding, and closely with your in-house team (Deputy/Assistant Housemasters or Housemistresses and Graduate Assistants). You will also be liaising daily with tutors, academic leaders, medical and other support services and the school’s leadership team. Your support will enable the students in your boarding house to thrive and fulfil their potential in all areas of their life at Beau Soleil. You will also teach a reduced number of lessons as part of our academic curriculum, or contribute to our wider education to an equivalent extent if this is more appropriate
