Secondary Teacher of Media Studies and English

The English and Media Faculty is dynamic and forward thinking with a strong team ethos.  You will be joining a group of dedicated professionals who work closely with one another to both deliver an engaging curriculum Our Key Stage 3 curriculum is based upon the British National Curriculum, with IGCSE Language & Literature delivered at Key Stage 4 and a healthy uptake of A Level English Literature and Media studies in Key Stage 5. As well as supporting students to achieve excellent language results you will be able to help EAL students develop the English fluency they need to excel in all their subjects. We have a strong focus on developing strong communicative and analytical skills and have recently introduced the ‘Let’s Think In English’ programme. The Media Studies course is becoming increasingly popular in the school and we are looking for someone who could lead our media studies courses with our team  to continue to grow the thriving subject. This is a well-established subject with a strong team and you will quickly build strong relationships to continue to improve the course and the outcomes for students.
