Your Profile

Languages are at the heart of much of what we do here at Beau Soleil with students from more than 55 nationalities present on campus each year. German is one of 10 lanugages taught from beginner to mother-tongue level, with demand growing each year.

As a native German speaker, you will have the ability to teach both German Literature and German as a foreign language. Ideally, you will also have the ability to teach a second foreign language, preferably either French or Spanish.

Playing a key role within the Faculty of Modern Languages, you will join a team centred on helping students to achieve and grow emotionally as well as intellectually. You will enjoy working with a range of abilities, ages and nationalities, and of course, have an infectious love of German language and literature.

Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life including the boarding house as well as the classroom. We have a comprehensive learning programme that includes Saturday morning academics and exciting challenges ranging from climbing 4000m peaks to night time ski racing.
