YOUR PROFILE 

Are you looking for an exceptional career opportunity as a Director of Finance? Look no further! We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our Swiss international Boarding School, which is part of the Nord Anglia Education group.

As the Director of Finance, you’ll be at the helm of the school’s financial operations, ensuring its ongoing success and financial stability. With your expertise, you will oversee accounting, optimize cash flow, lead budgeting and forecasting, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will also be responsible for financial reporting, cultivating relationships with banks and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee the operations of the accounting team (AP-AR-GL).
  • Manage and optimize Department, of Finance, providing reports to the Group.
  • Conduct financial closures in compliance with statutory regulations and IFRS. 
  • Lead the preparation of the school’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze discrepancies between actual results, budgeted figures and forecasts, focusing on profitability analysis.
  • Oversee both internal and external Audit/Regulatory processes.
  • Oversee all financial and legal aspects of the school’s operations and activities.
  • Administer and negotiate contracts and manage related processes.
  • Prepare for and manage the Annual General Meeting and maintain strong relations with the Board of Directors.
  • Strive for continual improvement and optimization of accounting and cross-functional processes.
  • Lead the transition and implementation of a new ERP system.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience in financial controlling is desirable
